On the 23rd of May 2021 we launch with a month-long challenge to improve people’s connections through physical activity. Physical activity is an integral part of maintaining a healthy mindset day to day. In 2019 there were 5,691 deaths to suicide in England and Wales three quarters of the registered deaths were among men.

We are inviting anyone who wishes to support this challenge by joining us to complete 5,691 miles over one month, 23rd May – 23rd June 2021.

The final day of the month-long challenge will culminate in a group walk from York to Charlie’s memorial bench at Bishopthorpe Crematorium, on his birthday in his memory.

We will meet at 10.00am on Wednesday 23rd June at York Minster for the final 2 miles.

We hope to raise money for our connected charities, raise awareness of the importance of good mental health and encourage people to make connections, reach out and speak out about their own challenges.

All activities can be loaded onto Strava by joining the Charlie.Dallas.Lancaster.Foundation on the Strava app.
