We bring men together to socialise, exercise, enjoy themselves, talk and let off steam in a non-judging, friendly and supportive environment. These are all essential for wellbeing and health, both physical and mental.

R;pple

Interceptive Tool

R;pple is an interceptive tool designed to present a visual prompt when a person searches for harmful keywords or phrases relating to the topic of self-harm or suicide. These phrases include any words or terminology which have been identified as displaying potentially damaging online content.

Wiggington Tennis Club

Physical Wellbeing

We are an inclusive, friendly and vibrant community club with four floodlit carpet courts. We offer social club sessions, club social events, local team tennis and and extensive coaching programme through Hot Shots Tennis Academy and our LTA Accredited Coaches.

Fitness, Well Being

Al has focused a lot of his attention on helping people with issues around mental health and support for social groups who would struggle to access this type of training.
The gym has partnered with local charities and organisations to facilitate this. These include CDLF, The Island, Menfulness, Danesgate Community and the NHS. This is a big part of what we do at Legions.

Al’s own life experiences has led him to see the value in proper Mental Health support and how valuable it can be, especially when it is combined with physical training in a positive community.
He trained over 4 years to become a therapeutic counsellor and now provides sessions;
Face to face in his counselling room.
Walk and talk therapy.
Online and telephone sessions

He can also offer the unique approach of Boxing Therapy, this is not available anywhere else in the city.
